Hi, I’m Calvin, your local personal trainer in Stockport and I’m the founder of Achievable Fitness. I’ve been training for over 7 years and I’ve read article after article of BS. I finally got fed up with spinning my wheels – not really going anywhere and I decided it was high time I changed my approach to training.
Having previously struggled with weight loss myself, I know where the pitfalls and shortcomings are with these ‘fad diets’. I’m also keen on improving my own physique too and I invest a lot of time studying nutrition and the digestive system in helping me reach peak performance.

Initially, I felt anxious and self-conscious going to the gym before I went with Calvin due to part experiences at gyms in my high school. Years later that trauma still had not left me and I felt unable to train in front of others.
Calvin helped me before we even set foot in the gym doors, encouraging me to take part in sessions with him and demonstrating great empathy allowing me to come out of my shell and begin my training programme with him. During the gym sessions, Calvin was always encouraging and pushed me physically and mentally to achieve the potential and heights he saw in me.
My outlook on the gym has now completely changed I feel less self-conscious and more confident when being around others in the gym environment. All in all, I do continue using the gym and working with Calvin as I believe I will struggle to find someone more dedicated, understanding and empathic.

I have been having personal training now for 2 months now and I feel amazing. My energy has increased and definitely seeing some changes in my body. It’s not only about the training I have been told about nutrition and how to eat better.
